Horizon Motorhomes have won the Best NSW Manufacturer Award for the second consecutive year.
We were awarded the Best NSW Manufacturer – Motorhomes, Campervans & 5th Wheelers, at the Caravan and Camping Industry Association’s Awards of Excellence, which recognise the leaders in the caravan and camping industry.
Horizon Motorhomes’ Managing Director, Clayton Kearney, said he was humbled by the win.
“We are honoured and very proud to have won this award for the second year.”
“The wins are a testament to the hard work and commitment of our team, we are dedicated to delivering the highest quality built-in motorhomes, and our range is constantly evolving and we are continually improving our product to suit lifestyle demands”.
As a proud Australian business, Horizon Motorhomes are built by a team of over 25 specialised master craftsmen, and Horizon rely on a number of local businesses for the supply of items and services in the build of our motorhomes.
“I would like to thank and congratulate our team as well as our suppliers who have enabled us to win this valued award”, Clayton Kearney said.
“We are thrilled to have our range of motorhomes recognised by the Association for the second year in a row.”
Both Avida and Horizon Motorhomes were in contention for the title, making Horizon Motorhomes’ win even more remarkable given Avida are one of the largest and longest established motorhome manufacturers in Australia.
This latest win tops off a very successful 18 months for Horizon Motorhomes, with the celebration of our 21st Anniversary this year, winning the Manufacturing & Innovation Award at the Ballina Business Awards in August, finalists in the 2016 Northern Rivers Regional Business Awards in two categories: Trade, Construction, and Manufacturing and Excellence in Business, and finalists in the Optus My Business Awards, to be held on November 18.
This year has also seen Horizon move into a new purpose-built state of the art factory. With a busy production schedule, this was a carefully planned move so as not to disrupt leadtimes, which will soon see the manufacture of our 600th Motorhome.
Construction has commenced on the second stage of the factory in Ballina, with the new facilities expected to lead to a significant increase in our production capacity. Watch this space!
