Horizon Motorhomes Win ‘Best NSW Manufacturer’ and ‘Best of the Best’ Trade Business Award

Horizon Motorhomes owner and founder Clayton Kearney cleaned up this week at the 2015 CCIA (Caravan, Camping, Industry Association) MHIA (Manufacturing, Housing Industry Association) Awards of Excellence – taking home two separate awards, Best NSW Manufacturer and Best of the Best Trade Business Award.

Operating for 20 years, Horizon Motorhomes specialise in built-in motorhomes and are one of the largest built-in motorhome manufacturers in Australia. All vehicles are designed and hand built at the factory in Ballina, from the shell up, using Mercedes Benz Sprinter and Fiat Ducato as base vehicles.

This is an extremely proud moment for Clayton Kearney and for his team at Horizon Motorhomes and BCMC (Ballina Campervan & Motorhome Centre), the sole dealer of Horizon – for all their hard work.

“To be honoured as a finalist is a huge achievement and then to win two awards today I couldn’t be any prouder. We are grateful to be recognised by the Association and for all the hard work and determination we have put in to our business. We take great pride in every aspect of the design, manufacturing, innovation, build, sales and after-sales of all Horizon Motorhomes that pass through the showroom. I thank my teams at Horizon and BCMC for all their hard work to get the brand to this level of national recognition”

This year has been a successful one for Horizon Motorhomes – selling its 500th vehicle in its 20th year and with their exclusive retailer Ballina Campervan & Motorhome Centre winning Best Business of the Year Award at the Ballina Coast & Hinterland Business Excellence Awards.

The Horizon Motorhomes range consists of eight models – Melaleuca, Casuarina, Banksia, Banksia + 2, Wattle, Acacia, Waratah and Grevillea.
