Mal and Laraine Leyland are currently adventuring through Victoria having just visited the Shipwreck Coast and the town of Beechworth.
The pair are travelling Australia in their ‘Banksia’ Horizon Motorhome and are recording footage of their adventures for Time to Roam.
Their most recent adventures have seen them explore the Great Ocean Road on the Victorian Coastline which has provided Mal with a number of photo opportunities.
The Leyland’s visited Princetown along the Shipwreck Coast also stopping in at some of Australia’s greatest natural wonders – the Loch Ard Gorge and the Twelve Apostles. The Flagstaff Hill Maritime Village Museum in Warrnambool impressed the Leyland’s with its rich shipwreck collection, and the village, which provides an insight into the maritime lifestyle of the 1870s era, the peak of Australia’s maritime heritage.
In Beechworth, the Leylands felt the time warp of the well-preserved historical town, famous for its abundance of gold during the gold-rush days of the 1850s.
We look forward to seeing where their Banksia Horizon Motorhome will lead them to next.
