Nola Fort | Banksia

One of the best decisions of my life...

“Getting a motorhome and traveling solo has been one of the best decisions of my entire life… this beautiful country is a great big adventure and I can go almost anywhere I’d like.”

Nola Fort, 65, from Geelong, purchased a ‘Banksia’ 14 months ago and has since clocked around 21,000kms. She decided on Horizon because of the quality of the build and practicality of the layout and options.

“If I was going to outlay this money, I wanted something that was pretty high spec... when I go looking for something, I’m very critical. Horizon has the eye for detail and the finish is far superior to the others that I’d seen”.

Once Nola decided that she didn’t want the ‘hitch up hassles’ of a caravan, she realised that the expense of buying bigger vehicle with appropriate towing capacities, plus the caravan itself, was going to be very close to the price of a motorhome. She then went looking for motorhomes that would suit.

“I had already made up my mind that I wanted a motorhome and then I found Horizon at the Brisbane show”

She was originally dealing with Ken, one of Horizon’s sales associates at BCMC (the exclusive dealer) and really valued his service.

“He’s a real ‘people person’… he answered all of my questions and reassured me I was making a good investment. I can’t praise Ken, Horizon and BCMC enough. Whenever I’ve had a question, nothing has been too much trouble”.

“I would recommend Horizon because I believe that their motorhomes really are a superior product: well built, well designed”.
